DIY Burlap Lace Table Runner

Hi readers!  I've looked everywhere for a table runner that I love, and I always come up short.  They are too busy or non-neutral colors, so I started looking for instructions to make my own.  I fell in love with the burlap and lace look.  I picked up the lace from Joann's with a coupon and found the burlap online.  I have a long rectangular table so you will need to measure for your table size.  I bought more burlap than I needed but will save it for future projects.  Here's my supply list:

- 2.5 yards of lace
- 2.5 yards of burlap (purchased here)
- glue gun
- scissors

I followed these directions for cutting my burlap:  http://www.sugarandsoul.co/2013/10/diy-burlap-lace-table-runner.html

I tried to use mod podge to clue the lace to the burlap but it just wouldn't hold.  Therefore I ended up just using a glue gun to attach the lace every few inches.  I'm very happy with the finished product.
